In Q1, capital expenditures of Lukoil grew by 38% to $3.4 billion

In January-March, the Lukoil’s capital expenditures made up $3.404 billion that is by 38.3% more than in the same period of the last year, the company reports.

In particular, Lukoil invested $1.874 billion into exploration and production in Russia against $1.634 billion in the first quarter of the last year; this rate abroad made up $663 million against $373 million in the previous year. On the whole, $2.537 billion were invested into the exploration and production that is by 36.4% more than in the first quarter of the last year ($2.007 billion).
