Novatek starts oil export via ESPO

In the first quarter of 2016, Novatek began to export oil through the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil pipeline, the company reports in its financial statements.

According to the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector, in the first quarter, subsidiary of Novatek - Yargeo (a joint venture with the Energiya fund of Igor Yusufov) exported 160 thousand tons of oil through the terminal of Kozmino. 20 thousand tons more were exported by Yargeo through Novorossiysk. Including in January, Yargeo exported oil through ESPO only - 70 thousand tons, in February 40 thousand tons were exported in this area, in March - 50 thousand tons.
