Vostok NAO to start the drilling of a 2nd well at Yangarey subsoil site in April 2016

On April 10th 2016 Vostok NAO – a JV of Lukoil and Bashneft – will start the drilling of the 2nd exploratory well near the Yangarey subsoil site in the Nenets Autonomous Area.
On March 2nd 2016 Vostok NAO started the drilling of the 1st exploratory well at the South-Visovoy perspective structure at the North-Yareyaginsy site.
The JV Vostok NAO was founded in 2014 for the geological study, exploration and hydrocarbons extraction at the license sites of the companies of the Nenets Autonomous Area.
The joint program of geological exploration at 7 sites until 2017 presupposes holding 1,100 linear of 2D seismic exploration and 2,300 sq km of 3D.
The investment volume is 5 bln roubles.
