Turkmenistan broadens raw materials base for gas supplies to Iran

In the future, one more reliable source can appear for the Korpeje-Kurtkui international gas pipeline, the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan reports. They mean the Kemer site discovered recently. It’s located in the Gogerendag-Ekerem zone.

The second well #7 drilled at Kemer has confirmed the geological forecasts about hydrocarbons reserves at depths of 3,402-3,408 and 3,490-3,492 m. Well #1 also confirmed the positive forecasts of the geologists. They rapidly perform drilling at exploration well #2 and assemble equipment at well #4. With their help, they execute drilling and development of natural resources at depth of up to 7,000 m where the most productive oil and gas deposits are located.
