The Ukraine may import not more than 1.6 billion cubic meters of gas per year from Poland and Hungary

The maximum gas volume, which the Ukraine technically may receive from Poland, doesn’t exceed 600 million cubic meters per year. The country also can receive up to 1 billion cubic meters per year from Hungary, the Kommersant-Ukraina writes, referring to a top source in the Ukrainian Ministry of Fuel and Energy.

“We may increase the total import to 7 billion cubic meters only come to an agreement on a reverse with Slovakia, which has the most part of transport capacities, and invested into the extension of reverse capabilities,” – the edition’s interlocutor explained.
