Ministry of Nature to offer to increase payment for Russian shelf areas for extension of geological exploration

The Ministry of nature offers to increase license payments for sites on Russian shelf in case of the extension of the geological exploration period, the Ministry’s Head Sergei Donskoy reported.

“We propose two ways: the increase of payments in case of the extension of the geological exploration period and the transfer of sites to the open acreage,” – Donskoy said, speaking about the discussed variants of stimulation of geological exploration on Russian shelf.
