Export of IORM from the RF exceeds import more than thrice in 2012

In 2012,the export of iron ore and concentrate in the RF made up 7.5 million tons, having reduced by 23.9% in 2011.
Actually, all the imported products were delivered from Kazakhstan (98.6% in natural terms), which is conditioned by IORM deliveries from ENRC to MMK.
At the same time, the volume of Russian export of iron ore and concentrate made up 23.1 million tons, having reduced by 5.9% compared to 2011. The main amount was delivered to far abroad.
China is the main importer of Russian iron ore and concentrate – 13.3 million tons or 92.8% to the previous year.
