Rosneft to have to make room at place in the sun

Rosneft will have to make room at place in the sun. The Ministry of Natural Resources has worked out a draft law, which extends number of companies that have right to extract hydrocarbons on the Russian Arctic sea shelf.

But, the developed draft law met with opposition of the Ministry of Energy. The Ministry disagrees with this proposal. It is known that not only Lukoil, but also Novatek and even Chernomorneftegaz and Severneftegaz, controlled by Vladimir Lisin, were admitted to the shelf. Taking into account the fact that only Lukoil has licenses for work on shelf, the situation looks pretty strange.
