In 2013, KPO extracted 10.5 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons and over 17 billion cubic m of gas

The international consortium KarachaganakPetroleumOperatingB.V. (KPO), engaged with oil extraction at the Karachaganak deposit in the Western Kazakhstan region, extracted 10.5 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons and over 17 billion cubic m of gas, the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan reports. In 2012, KPO extracted 139.5 million barrels in oil equivalent of stabilized and non-stabilized liquid hydrocarbons, gas and fuel gas. Now they analyze the opportunities of the further development of the deposit.
