Turkey asks "Gazprom" to increase gas supplies via the "western route" through the Ukraine, Taner Yildiz, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, told the journalists in Moscow, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
"Today we are on the eve of the winter period, when gas demand during December, January and February increases. In some regions of Turkey the gas consumption in summer and winter varies by 22 times", - he said.
