UC Rusal’s industrial program is introduced at Boguchansk aluminium plant that is under construction

The principles of the UC Rusal’s industrial program, which is used at all enterprises of the company for a decrease of production prime cost and business processes improvement, are taken into account at the Boguchansk aluminium plant (BoAZ) at the construction stage. This will allow the enterprise not only to reduce capital expenses, but also achieve a maximum reduction of the aluminium production prime cost at the launch stage.

UC Rusal’s industrial system is based on the concept of the company management, elaborated by Toyota. It is aimed at constant striving to eliminate all types of losses (costs) during the production. Today this concept is used at enterprises of different companies in the world. Particularly, Rosatom, Sberbank, VTB, GAZ, KAMAZ and other companies actively use it. The introduction of this industrial system at the UC Rusal’s enterprises allows the company to achieve a significant reduction of the production prime cost due to implementation of internal reserves. Thus, over the first ten months of the current year the corresponding economic effect exceeded 500 million rubles.
