Turkmengaz is the anchor investor of TAPI

The state Concern “Turkmengaz” is the main investor of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline construction project,Turkmen TV states.

This issue was discussed at the governmental meeting. They have discussed the budget of the TAPI gas pipeline's construction. According to the decision, “Turkmengaz”, as the leader of the consortium, will be the anchor investor of the project.

The report also notes that the Afghan, Indian and Pakistani sides will finance the project in accordance with their approved participation interest. The Asian Development Bank will also take part in the project at the expense of its own investments, organization of finance system and financing.
