Kazakhmys produced 181.5 thousand tons of copper concentrate over 9 months

Ore extraction in Q1-Q3 2015 at the company’s mines exceeded 21 mln tons, by 6% over the plan.
Corporation Kazakhmys LLP in Jan-September 2015 produced 181.5 thousand tons of copper concentrate, by 3% over the plan.
“To reach a high level of metal extraction into concentrate, scientific and research works are held so as to reconsider the existing technological parameters of ore enrichment, reagent selection, industrial tests on the selection of the most effective flotation equipment”, is reported.
In 2014 Kazakhmys produced 295.2 thousand tons of copper in cathode equivalent out of its own ore, 2.946 tons of gold in ingots, 329 tons of refined silver.
