Winter Is Coming.Eastern Europe is preparing for the worst.

Winter is coming, and Eastern Europe anxiously awaits the start of the cold weather. The flashback to 2006 and 2009 is still fresh in the memory, when Russian gas supplies stopped in the midst of a cold winter. In both cases, the cause was similar in origin. In 2006, due to the lack of agreement "Gazprom" has stopped fuel supplies to the Ukraine, then Kiev began siphoning off the European gas. In 2009 - again due to the lack of agreement – the Ukraine completely blocked the transit pipeline, and Europe lost gas for the time. Then the people of the Old World had to remember what wood heating is. However, despite the bitter experience, within all this time Europe has made little effort to diversify their gas supplies. And if the negotiations between Moscow and Kiev do not succeed before the full start of the winter, then history may repeat itself. Poland, Hungary and the Balkans in particular will be affected most in this case. And the Czech Republic, by the way, generally believes that such a forecast is inevitable.
