Systema AFK refuses to consider the possible sale of Bashneft

Systema AFK is not going to sell Bashneft and has not received any offers about the sale of the oil business, the President of Systema AFK, M. Shamolin claims. He refused to comment about the legal actions round Bashneft, Interfax reports.

Bashneft was going to hold SPO for the sum of over $1 billion in September 2014. However recently it announced about the postponing of the SPO due to the unfavorable situation in the market. Bashneft also faces judicial problems. At the beginning of July, a minority shareholder initiated a claim against the license for the largest asset, the Trebs and the Titov deposit. In the middle of July, Bashneft’s stocks were arrested within the suit about the sales of the Bashkir fuel and energy sector assets.
