“Polyus Gold” compensates for Vostochnoye with Zapadnaya Olimpiada

PJSC “Polyus Gold” is about to compensate for the decline in ore production during the recovery of the quarry Vostochny after the rock fall in May, at the expense of stock reserves and the launch of Zapadny Olimpiadinsky deposit, company reports.

The launch of the quarry Zapadny is necessary to increase gold content in the ore, delivered to the plants of the Krasnoyarsk business unit. There will also be involved accumulated carbon refractory ore into the processing due the technological development. At the same time, the company boosts an expansion of the processing plant “Blagodatnoye”.
