Transadriatic gas pipeline to beat NABUCCO project

The consortium on the development of deposit Shakh-Deniz in Azerbaijan preferred Transadriatic gas pipeline (TAP) to NABUCCO pipeline for a transportation of natural gas from the deposit Shakh-Deniz II in Azerbaijan via Turkey to the European market. Diplomatic sources stated to Today’s Zaman on June 26.
