SOCAR and BP choose TAP project for gas export from Shah-Deniz to Europe

The representatives of the SOCAR’s management and BP’s subsidiary BP Azerbaijan will visit Greece to report the final decision of Shah-Deniz’s shareholders on choice of Azerbaijani gas export route to Europe to Greek Prime Minister, Antonis Samaras, the Trend reports, referring to the Italian agency ANSA.

“It is expected that the parties will sign a corresponding agreement (on choice of the Trans Adriatic (TAP) project as a gas pipeline, via which gas will be supplied to Europe),” – the report says.
