CNPC announces discovery of new oil field in the north-west of China

The first Chinese oil field of low permeability reservoir with reserves in the volume of 100 million tons has been found in the northwestern province Shaanxi.
The oil deposits were found in the Ordos Basin of the Tsziyuanskom field, which is developed by CNPC’s subsidiary. The field got the name Sinanbyanskoye.
