Severstal starts to supply pipes for South Stream gas pipeline

Severstal of Alexei Mordashov has delivered the first shipment of pipes for the offshore section of the South Stream gas pipeline, the company’s press centre reports.

It is planned to ship over 40 thousand tons of pipes before the end of the second quarter.

Earlier it was reported that by results of two tenders, which were held in the first quarter of 2014, Severstal would deliver about 260 thousand tons of pipes for the first and second strings South Stream gas pipeline.
