Kyrgyzstan to transfer a Government’s stake in “Kyrgyzgas” to “Gazprom”

The Government of Kyrgyzstan has confirmed the draft agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, under which the state’s holding in a national gas company OJSC “Kyrgyzgas” goes over to “Gazprom”. A representative of the press-service of the government of the republic stated, RIA Novosti reports.

The agreement on an acquisition of the Kyrgyz national gas operator by the Russian company was reached during the visit of the president of the Russian Federation V.Putin to Bishkek in autumn last year.
