By the beginning of 2014, Tatneft’s shale oil reserves were 192 million tons. The information about the state of geological prospecting and execution of trial and production work on shale oil was presented at the session of the Board of Directors of the company on Thursday. They agreed at the session the program of work on shale oil for 2014-2015, and admitted the structure of creation of the shale oil field at the Domanic deposits in Tatarstan. Now they study the geophysical data on oil production and have chosen the wells for layer hydraulic fracturing this year. The Board of Directors also analyzed the results of Tatneft’s budget execution in January and February 2014, and admitted the budget for April and Q2 2014.
