Magnitogorsk metallurgical complex (MMK) developed an original method to produce iron by direct reduction from titanium magnetite ore and other sources of the raw material due to the prospective third-generation metallurgical technology ITmk3.

The press service of MMK reports, two years ago the complex started searching for prospective directions of processing of oxidized (hematite) and titanium magnetite ores with extraction of different components.
