New oil field is discovered in Belarus

A new oil field was discovered in the north part of the Pripyat depression due to 2D seismic exploration.
The geologists of Belarusneft are sure that oil deposits are located between the Zhlobin and Svetlogorsk districts, the enterprise’s press centre reports.
Th results of the seismic survey have been sent to the Belorusneft’s engineering centre – BelNIPIneft – to determine borders of oil-bearing areas.
