MMK has launched new Samsung turbocompressor for mill 2500
MMK has launched a new air turbocompressor in the oxygen shop, made by the Korean Samsung. The new equipment is installed at the second compressor station upgraded with reconstruction at casting and rolling shop #4 of mill 2500. Its capacity is 30,000 cubic m of compressed air per hour. Within the performed work, they de-installed worn equipment, built fundament and the sites for provision of services for the new equipment, performed chief-mantling and starting and assembly work. Dalva Consulting company won the tender for the compressor equipment supplies. They also supplied supplementary equipment to the combine, including the automatics system, air conditioners, oil system, pumpers and heat-exchange units.
