Gazpromneft to plan to come back to Libyan project Elephant in the next six months

Gazpromneft intends to join the Libyan project Elephant in the next six months, the company’s First Deputy General Director V.Yakovlev announced.

“I don’t see any obstacles. I hope, this will take place during the next six months,” – he said, answering for the question about the terms of the company’s joining the project.

Answering for the question if the Libyan Authorities support this, Yakovlev said: “Yes, we constantly hear this from them”.
