HDPE production in Russia: Results of 2015.

In 2015 Russian producers increased the amount of polyethylene (HDPE) by 11% compared with 2014. However, there have been major structural changes in the product range, which will have consequences in 2016, according to the Annual Review of "Polyethylene in Russia - 2016".
Last year Russian producers managed to increase production volumes of high-density polyethylene to 904 thousand tons. The main increase in production figures was provided by Stavrolen, which reopened in April 2015 after a long forced stop in February 2014. In addition, the assortment of HDPE was seriously adjusted, and this factor will have impact on the performance in 2016.
