The refinery plant in Astana is not sufficiently loaded by gold containing raw materials, deputy Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, A. Rau, said answering the question of journalists.

“Its capacity is 25 tons of gold a year. Last year it processed over 10 tons of raw materials”, A. Rau said.

He added that there are 3 refinery plants functioning in Kazakhstan – Kazzinc, Kazakhmys and a plant in Astana.
