Lukoil-Perm to complete geological exploration of shale gas reserves in Komi before the end of April

Lukoil-Perm will complete geological exploration of shale gas reserves in Komi before the end of April, head of the Lukoil-Perm’s press centre Alexei Zorin reported today.

According to preliminary information, unconventional resources in the Kurino-Patrakovskaya structure make up about 3 trillion tons. After registration these resources can be considered reserves of shale gas. The resources of natural gas in its pure form at the site are approximately 70 billion cubic meters.
