In 2014, Kazakhstan produced 22.829 thousand tons of uranium as compared to 22.5 thousand tons produced in 2013, Kazatomprom reports.
"Kazakhstan has retained its leading position as the largest producer of uranium in the world. By results of 2014, the volume of the uranium production in Kazakhstan amounted to 22.829 million tons, which corresponds to the planned targets, "- the report says.
