SOCAR upgrades units for energy supply to tank battery at the Oil Rocks field

SOCAR has started to upgrade distribution systems designed to supply electricity to the existing tank farm for storage of oil at the Oil Rocks field.

"The recent large-scale construction, repair and reconstruction works, carried out by SOCAR, has led to an increase in the oil production, which, in turn, caused the need for expansion of the existing tank farm. There is a need in new facilities and equipment and in the reconstruction of distribution plants, designed for energy supply to the tank farm for the initial preparation of oil and gas processing and transportation,"- SOCAR reports.
