Oil and gas specialists in Russia are hard to find

It becomes harder to find oil and gas specialists, director of the HR management and staff recruitment department of Bashneft, Leysan Lukmanova says. Thus, the companies have to invent new approaches to staff recruitment. For example, Bashneft hires the 50 best students of Ufa State Oil Technical University every year. The latest research of Hays confirms, the market in the sphere of oil recruiting  is “absolutely a job seeker's”, RBC daily reports.

The extraction of hydrocarbons remains the cornerstone of Russian economy, at the same time, the need for staff becomes sharper. Despite the fact that average salary of a specialized engineer makes up almost $100 thousand per year, it becomes harder and harder to find staff, is said in the research Hays Oil & Gas Global Jobs Index 2013.
