In 2014, the Yugra subsoil users will invest 29 billion rubles to geological exploration in the region, compared to 25 billion rubles last year, the Governor N. Komarova says. The presupposed federal investment will be 634 million rubles compared to 407 million rubles last year. These measures aimed to enlargement in geological exploration gain their result. Last year reserves were enlarged to 320 million tons of oil due to geological exploration, and annual production is 260 million tons. Experts claim that the regional oil reserves are enough for 4 generations. In 2012, the total oil production reached 10 billion tons of oil, and within 50 years of oil extraction total yield has reached 10.3 billion tons
