The analysis of the 3D data processing on the Shafaq-Asiman prospective structure is completed.

In H1 2014 the 3D seismic data processing research on the Shafaq-Asiman prospective structure has been completed, the press service of BP - Azerbaijan reported.

In early 2012 the research vessel "Gilavar" completed the 3D seismic program of research on the Shafaq-Asiman prospective structure. "As part of the contract, it was the first 3D seismic survey conducted on this promising structure. Since that time we analyzed the results. Currently it is the most volumetric analysis held in Azerbaijan on the results obtained via the 3D seismic surveys. During H1 2014 we completed the data analysis and interpretation of the seismic data began. We need 18 months to complete the work on the interpretation of the data. Besides, we will need one more year to plan the first exploration well", - the statement informs.
