The acting Governor of the Murmansk region M. Kovtun has discussed the projects for upgrading of Norilsk Nickel capacities at the Kola Peninsula

The acting Governor of the Murmansk region, M. Kovtun has met with the First Vice CEO, the Chief Operational Officer of Norilsk Nickel, S. Dyachenko, the Vice CEO of Norilsk Nickel for cooperation with the state authorities and investment society, A. Bugrov and the CEO of Kola GMK, I. Ryshkel. They discussed the projects for upgrading of Norilsk Nickel capacities at the Kola Peninsula.

Mrs. Kovtun states that Kola GMK remains not only the engine of the economy of the Murmansk region but also one of the most reliable partners of the regional Government. The acting Governor emphasizes that the main task of the regional authorities is the creation of the favorable conditions for operation in the region for the active and new investors. She assures the management of the enterprise that the regional authorities will continue the work over maintenance of the active energy provision of the region, and the company’s projects planned for realization in the region will be realized whereas they’ll need much additional energy resources.
