The Saratov refinery has launched a new pentane-hexane fraction isomerization facility, which produces a component of high-octane gasoline. The total amount of investments made up about 6 billion rubles.
The facility produces the component of commercial gasoline that allows the plant to produce fuel of the Euro-5 standard without any supplied components, the agency Business-TASS reports. The facility’s capacities can process 300 thousand ton of raw materials per year. Not only the oil processing depth will increase with the launch, but also the amount of production of high-octane fuel for cars.
