Unknown partner of Rosneft.

"Rosneft" has sold 29% of the Taas-Yuryakh deposit to the obscure Skyland Petroleum. But the latest draft of the founder of Skyland ended with his departure under pressure from shareholders unhappy with the results of the company, RBK informs.

The mysterious company.

Last week, during the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, "Rosneft" has signed "basic conditions" of the agreement to create a "prospective joint venture" based on "Taas-Yuryakh Oil-Gas" with Skyland Petroleum Corporation. This agreement provides for the sale of up to 29% in "Taas-Yuryakh" (now "Rosneft" owns 100%) to Skyland Petroleum and the establishment of a joint venture to develop Srednebotuobinsk oil and gas deposit (main asset "Taas-Yuryakh", located in Yakutia, its reserves are estimated at 133 million tons of oil and 137 billion cubic meters of gas).
