Lukoil has assessed the hydrocarbon reserves at the shelf of West Africa in 4 billion tons of oil equivalent, the Head of the strategical management department of Lukoil Overseas E. Sobolev said.
Exploration of the shelf of West Africa is one of three directions of business development for Lukoil Overseas. The company assessed the potential reserves at 8 blocks in 4 billion barrels of oil equivalent.
