The Ukraine wants to completely reject gas imports by 2020

The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy expects to completely refuse gas imports by 2020, said the head of the Ministry Igor Nasalik at the Energy Congress.

On May 11, head of the country's largest gas company Ukrgasdobycha Oleg Prokhorenko said that the Ukraine could increase its own gas production to 27-30 billion cubic meters per year from the current 20 billion, which will actually allow it to give up on fuel imports.
