European Bank of Reconstruction and Development to finance gas projects in Kazakhstan for the first time

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will finance the first two gas projects in Kazakhstan to the total amount of 294 million euro. The corresponding agreement was signed by the Bank’s president Suma Chakrabarti and chairman of the Kazakh gas transportation company KazTransGas’s Board of Directors Kairat Sharipbayev.
The first project provides for the renovation and repair of underground gas storage Bozoi.
