Gas chemical engineering centre to appear in Bashkiria

A supplementary cooperation agreement between OJSC “Gazprom” and the government of Bashkortostan was concluded during the St.Petersburg International Economic Forum. The chairman of the Board of Management of Gazprom A. Miller and the president of Bashkortostan R.Khamitov signed it.

The press-service of Gazprom states there will be organized a gas chemical engineering centre in Bashkortostan under this agreement.

The centre is aimed at the development of the project on capacity expansion at OJSC “Gazprom neftekhim Salavat”, necessary for the increase of the processing depth of gas condensate and oil raw materials, and an increase of production.

The agreement also considers a creation of the company on assembly, repair, testing and servicing of gas turbine engines. “Gazprom”, “Ufa engine-building industrial group” and the Government of the republic of Bashkortostan will take part in it.
