Slovakia disagrees with the reverse gas supply scheme to Ukraine

The EU has failed to agree with Slovakia on the reverse supply of 10-12 billion cubic meters of gas to Ukraine. It could reduce the dependence of Kiev on “Gazprom”. Robert Fico, the Prime Minister of Slovakia, asserted the priority for the country is Russian gas delivery guarantee and that there is no “spare money to support Kiev”. The absence of EUR20 million to organize the reverse and supply security has become the key objection, according to the politician.
