TNK-BP completes seasonal program “Winter road”

On April 1st TNK-BP completes the seasonal program “Winter road” which aims for checking the meeting the road-traffic safety inside the company and by its contractors. For half a year the company has been checking the health and level of training of drivers; transport park – own and that of contractors; state of road network used in the operational activity of TNK-BP (including ice crossing and temporary winter roads).

Transport safety is one of the unconditional priorities of TNK-BP: car park engaged in the company’s activity counts more than 22 thousand units of equipment, more than 90% is in the property of contractors. One of the goals of the program is to apply to the contractors the strict requirements of corporate safety standard, check how they meet high corporate standards. This year it takes half a year, usually only 1-month programs were held.
