From the beginning of February, Ukrtransgaz took 733 million cubic meters of Russian gas

In the period of February 1-24, 2015, Ukrtransgaz took 733.374 million cubic meters of Russian gas, the company’s statistics show.

Gazprom and Naftogaz didn’t officially voice the exact amount of Russian gas, prepaid by the Ukraine in February. According to calculations of National Energy Security Fund, it is a little less than 1 billion cubic meters.

Yesterday, head of Naftogaz Andrei Kobolev reported that as of February the 25th, the prepaid volumes of Russian gas accounted for more than 206 million cubic meters. At the same time, Naftogaz hasn’t yet made an advance payment for future deliveries in March.
