The Government sells area of the Sakhalin shelf to the Rosneft subsidiary for 830 million roubles.

~The Government has provided JSC "Elvary Neftegaz" (the subsidiary of "Rosneft") with the right to use a Kaigan - Vasyukansk - Sea in the Sea of Okhotsk, the corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

"CJSC "Elvary Neftegaz" payment is estimated at 830.2 million roubles," – the reference to the specified document states. Earlier, a source in "Rosneft" told the "Prime" agency that the company will pay 754 million rubles for the Kaigan - Vasyukansk - Sea area.

"Rosneft" has completed the geological study of the Kaigansk - Vasyukansk licensed area, located on the Sakhalin shelf. The exploration license was registered in Rosnedra in 2013, as solutions on the current phase of the project and the main results are obtained.
