Yugra’s oil and gas producers have been fined by over 35 million rubles

The environment protection prosecutor’s office of Yugra (the Khanti-Mansi autonomous area) have inspected execution of subsoil legislation for associated oil gas extraction and utilization by the regional oil and gas producers. Most of inspected enterprises illegally burn associated oil gas, unrationally use natural resources in oil deposits development. In 2012, the regional torches burnt over 5 billion cubic m of associated oil gas. Violations were revealed in operation of 26 largest enterprises.
