In January, Russia increased LNG production by 5.5%

In January, Russian companies increased the liquefied natural gas production (propane and butane) by 5.5% as compared to the same period of the last year to 1.089 million tons, enterprises report.

In particular, the LNG production at Sibur’s enterprises grew by 7.6% to 327.4 thousand tons, and at Rosneft’s enterprises – by 6.9% and made up 21.6 thousand tons. Nizhnekamskneftekhim increased this rate by 14.8% to 112.7 thousand tons.
