Gazpromneft starts survey of Bazhenov formation in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district

Gazpromneft has begun to study reserves of the Bazhenov formation at the Vyngayakhinskoye field in the Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district. The project is implemented by the company Gazpromneft-Muravlenko.

This is the first field in the region, where the company began to study non-conventional reserves, which include the Bazhenov formation. Until now, Gazpromneft has worked on finding the most efficient technologies for industrial developmentof the Bazhenov deposits mainly in the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district.
