In 2011, the Ukraine exported ferroalloys for $1 billion

In 2011, the Ukraine exported ferroalloys for $1 billion, mostly to Russia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Germany and South Korea. The monopoly ferroalloys producers in the Ukraine are the Nicopol, Zaporozhye and the Stakahnov ferroalloy plants. They all are in the sphere of influence of the structures connected with the shareholders of Privat Bank's I. Kolomoysky and G. Bogolyubov. Most of exports were held via offshore intermediaries. The Nicopol ferroalloy plant supplied products to the Locken Corporation in Belize, the Zaporozhye ferroalloy plant supplied them to Arran Continental at the British Virgin Islands, and the Stakahnov ferroalloy plant supplied them to Glowston Products in Belize. Besides from the three entities mentioned above, ferroalloys were also exported by Ukrnafta; its largest private shareholders are the structures of I. Kolomoysky and G. Bogolyubov. In 2010 the Ukraine exported ferroalloys for $1.2 billion.
