Sechin: Rosneft expects hydrocarbons extraction in 2015 at the planned level

In February he said that Rosneft plans to keep the extraction in 2015 at the level of 2014 when oil extraction made up 205 mln tons, gas – about 60 bln cubic m.

Rosneft’s daily extraction in Jan-September fell by 1% to 4.119 mln barrels a day, gas extraction rose by 12.3% to 0.912 mln barrels a day.

In general hydrocarbons extraction in Jan-September 2015 rose by 1.4% to 5.143 mln barrels of oil equivalent a day that was due to extraction growth at new deposits, growth of the  program of operational drilling and application of modern geological-technical decisions.

The growth of gas volumes was due to the putting into operation of gas wells at the Tarasovsky deposit of Purneftegas in H2 2014 and increase of extraction volumes at the Vankor deposit where in 2014 a route gas pipeline was constructed. The growth of natural gas extraction made up 5.3%, APG- 19.6%.
